Ian Cook is a Professional Landscape & Wildlife Photographer, based in Northumberland U.K. Ian has over 40 years photographic experience, having worked in both  Industrial & Commercial Photography and Scientific Sectors. Ian has a strong background in the technical and artistic aspects of photography. Ian has worked with some of the best photographers in the country, he has, for the last 15 years, been a freelance photographer.

 

Ian has a professional, efficient and friendly approach and is able to work in a wide variety of situations, he has extensive experience of working in hazardous environments including industrial construction, chemical plants and the automotive sector and operating as a helicopter and light aircraft cameraman.

 

Able to work to tight schedules and short deadlines, or work on his own initiative, he takes pride in obtaining the best possible images in any situation.

 

Ian has an extensive knowledge of photography, film and digital cameras, having worked in commercial wet darkrooms, he can apply his vast knowledge of the traditional darkroom to the modern day light room.

 

Ian has extensive film and digital camera kit with studio and portable flash lighting. Using the latest Apple and HP computer systems together with state of the art computer editing and manipulation software for photography, Ian is constantly looking for new ways to incorporate new technology and software to produce innovative images.

 

Ian has a large collection of Stock Images. These images are available as Fine Art Prints for the Private customer. Licences for the Commercial Client are available upon request.

 

Ian has won numerous photographic awards over the years, in addition to having numerous images displayed in International touring exhibitions.
